The power of video.
Remember these two old sayings?
I know you just sang number 2 in your head! Well I did anyway!
Well as much as music videos trumped radio singles, and pictures do say 1000 words, how many words do you think a business brand video can say? I haven't come up with any scientific calculation here - but I can hold my hand on my heart and say - a lot.
In my role as marketing consultant, I really do get to do lots of fun stuff. Thank you to my fabulous clients who trust me to have some fun whilst working. In May 2019, I teamed up with our resident filmmaker Finn Buckle to create a brand video for a client. We've made a few of these together over the years, but I want to tell you about this one.
The client is RMS, a civil construction company in north Queensland. So my brief included not only making the company look professional, but we needed to capture some of the size of the projects the team at RMS work on. They build roads, bridges and more all over regional Queensland, so we needed to also capture the vastness of their playground. And all at a reasonable cost.
Finn and I had a fantastic time developing this video for RMS.
To get the sweeping shots we used a drone and to keep in line with the brand guidelines of being honest, we used real staff, not paid actors.

The video has been well received by the market and has said for more than 1000 words for the RMS brand. How could a professionally produced video assist your brand?
