Toolbox for tendering in busines
Whether this is your first tender or you're a seasoned tender writer, there are a few key tools that ensure your bid is the best it can be. In my experience, companies who present a consist impression across their tender, website and capability statement are awarded more contracts than those who don't.
A great tendering toolkit includes:
  • Professional, succinct tender or expression of interest
  • Great, up to date website
  • Awesome capability statement 

Having a professionally prepared tendering tool kit can assist with:
  • Leaving a great impression with prospective clients
  • Summarising your credibility and capability as a business
  • Enable cross selling from department to department
  • Enable word of mouth business to grow
  • Assisting your current clients refer you for other projects

If you have a tendering toolkit in place, use these pointers to conduct a review of the effectiveness of your toolkit:
  • Your website needs to be responsive, which means it automatically resizes for smartphones, tablets and computers
  • The photos and information on your website need to be current
  • Ensure your website has a SSL Certificate (google loves this)
  • Your capability statement includes current photos and text
  • You use cast studies, examples or experience to showcase your expertise
  • Your contact details on your website and capability statement are easy to use (and easy to find again)
