Please take 3 minutes to complete the survey, whether you were flooded or not. By letting the Queensland Government know about how this has impacted your business, they can get a better idea of what assistance will be valuable.

Some of the items they ask about include:

• Loss of forward orders
• Flood damage
• Business stand down
• Letting staff go
• And more.

In the "other" section I have let them know that I believe practical economic assistance for business owners to re-build and flourish is vital. In particular, I believe the following 3 steps would be beneficial, quick and encourage business and economic growth. These are:

• Open the $5K Small Business Entrepreneurs Grants Program and give priority to north and west Queensland business owners. 
• Open the $10K Small Business Digital Grants Program and give priority to business owners in north and west Queensland.
• Extend the $20K Back to Work Program for the region allowing employers to access this more times.
